Dan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Army Staff Sergeant with a deep passion for helping people move, perform, and live without pain. Originally from Muskegon, Michigan, he joined the U.S. Army in 2010 and continues to serve in the Army Reserve as a Psychological Operations Team Leader. His time in the military shaped his lifelong focus on fitness, resilience, and longevity.

After earning his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Baker College in Muskegon, Dan spent two years working in outpatient orthopedics before pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Findlay, graduating in 2023. Along the way, he completed a 12-week tactical strength and conditioning internship under world-renowned coach Matt Wenning, gaining valuable experience in high-performance training and rehabilitation.

Dan has also completed extensive post-graduate training and certifications, including:

He enjoys working with anyone who values their health and wants to take an active role in improving it—whether that’s returning to sport, staying strong for family life, or simply moving better every day.

Dan and his wife, Kelsey, live in Traverse City with their two daughters, Noa and Elodie. When they’re not chasing the kids around, the family loves spending time outdoors and exploring Northern Michigan together.
